Lottery Proceeds
Initiative Summary
Funds from lottery proceeds are used to purchase equipment and fund projects for comprehensive schools and technology centers. They also provide scholarships for those working on CareerTech or administrative credentials or continuing education credits.
Comprehensive schools received 283 equipment grants for $5,000 or less that totaled $1,396,397. Fourteen equipment grants to technology centers totaled $1.6 million. FY11 lottery proceeds also funded 360 scholarships for a total of $238,380.
