Protecting the Nation’s Critical Infrastructure
The Department of Homeland Security has identified 18 critical infrastructure sectors that represent a diverse spectrum of services including agriculture and food, emergency services and cyber networks. These systems and assets, whether physical or virtual, are so vital to the United States that security breaches could have a debilitating impact on national economic security, national public health and safety.
Role of CareerTech:
CareerTech is playing a national role in developing courses and training faculty throughout the United States to teach automation and control systems security toprotect these critical infrastructures.
