POSITION: Health Careers Certifications Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide effective instruction in Health Careers Certifi cations necessary to prepare
students for employment in business and industry.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director

SKILLS REQUIRED: Good interpersonal relationship skills and utilize good verbal and written
communication. Must be able to develop or modify curriculum to meet individual
program requirements. Must be a good role model.

CERTIFICATION: Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma. Must possess or be eligible for Health Occupations and Biological Sciences certifi cation through the Oklahoma Dept of Career & Technology Education.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years’ recent work experience in health care industry, at least one year in a long-term care facility. Teaching experience preferred.

EDUCATION: Registered Nurse. Bachelor’s degree required.

STARTING DATE: August 1, 2014

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month contract
