POSITION: Industrial Electronics Technology Instructor
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for instruction, curriculum development, job placement of students and documentation of students’ skills and competence.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director
SKILLS REQUIRED: High level skills related to electrical installation including conduit installation, wiring; adept in NEC calculations required for industrial installations; troubleshooting of both electrical and electronic circuits to component level; planning, organizing, writing, documenting; instruction of students with multiple skill levels.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three (3) years industry or teaching experience within the last five years in performing high level industrial maintenance including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
EDUCATION: High School diploma required; Associate Degree or Technical certificate from higher education institute preferred. Must be eligible for Trade and Industrial education certificate through the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to operate 4-wheel vehicle in order to travel to job sites and meetings. Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: July 1, 2014
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 months contract
