Time Open: 11/22/13 - Until Suitable Candidate is Identified Campus Location: Franklin Road Campus Department: Business & Information Technology Careers Job #: 14-19B Position: Full-Time Grade/Step: 0-59-MS+, 1-10 Salary Range: $48,280.21-$56,,735.98 annually Performs responsible instructional level duties under limited supervision to teach the classes/labs assigned leading to placement of students on jobs; prepares task analysis; advises students; grades reports, tests, and progress; and advises the supervisor concerning textbooks, special equipment, supplies, or other needs. Attends meetings and participates in overall quality of program and school. An incumbent in this position will utilize discretion, ingenuity, and independent judgment due to the complexity of the job. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree acceptable with requirement to achieve a Bachelor’s degree. Special Knowledge, Skill, or Ability: •Working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing computers and peripherals, TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN, and client/server environments. •Lecture and demonstrative skills •Reasoning ability •Ability to instruct •Ability to observe, recognize, and interpret •Ability to evaluate •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Ability to work well with others Experience: At least three years successful occupational experience in the skill area to be taught, said skill to have been the major assignment in the experience. Credentials: Must qualify for Trade and Industrial Education certification through the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education Certifications such as; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or other relevant industry certifications are preferred.
