Job Title: OkACTE Executive Director
Reports to: OkACTE Board of Directors
The executive director of the Oklahoma Association of Career Technology Education (OkACTE) manages all association activities which include but are not limited to coordination of legislative services, financial, coordination of board and committee meetings, general supervision of the staff, and any other responsibilities that would strengthen the OkACTE and its affiliated membership.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience in the field of career and technology education. A minimum of five (5) years of either administrative, supervisory and teaching experience. Proven communication and presentation skills. Experience in business and industry services relating to career and technical education would be a benefit. The successful candidate will also have experience in government affairs that will allow them to be effective in advocating for career and technology education on the state and national level.
Location and traveling:
While performing duties of this position, the executive director must maintain a residence in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area. Traveling in state and out of state will be a part of this position.
Compensation and benefits to be commensurate with educational experience.
