GRADE/STEP: D, 1-3

SALARY: $ 14.78 - $15.24/hr

WORK PERIOD: M-F, 7:30am – 4:30pm

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs and oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills. These include budget administration and control, equipment, facilities, and inventory management, specialized recordkeeping and database management and specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions and special events as appropriate. May delegate work responsibilities to lower graded staff or work-study students. May coordinate designated administrative activities.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Special Knowledge, Skill, or Ability:

  • Perform executive administrative functions including but not limited to record maintenance, report filing, scheduling, telecommunications, basic accounting processes, purchasing, screening callers and visitor
  • Excellent project coordination experience
  • Extensive software skills including Internet research abilities
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Possess effective verbal and written interpersonal skill; organizational and personnel management skill and initiative required. Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendor
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information
  • Satisfactory personal conduct and integrity
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance

Experience: Minimum of four years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
