The state CareerTech agency Information Technology infrastructure serves the needs of people in Stillwater and around the state. Agency staff enjoy friendly in-person service when they encounter a problem utilizing IT resources. Customer service representatives strive to solve problems quickly and prevent them from reoccurring.
CALL TICKET PROCESS
Computer Support is the single point of contact for all of the agency’s IT resources. The help desk is staffed during normal business hours. The goal is to assist in solving problems quickly and prevent them from reoccurring.
All requests for assistance are logged in the call ticket system, assigned to appropriate IT staff and tracked through completion. Reports can be provided to division managers of call tickets upon request.
The Systems Status Line, X860, is a voice mail system to inform staff if the system is functioning properly or if there is a problem with the network, email, servers, etc. Computer Support staff also has a call tree in place to contact all divisional secretaries in the event of a major outage.
