Outlook - New Email System
We are currently in the process of changing our CT Central email system to Outlook Web Access using a Microsoft Exchange Server in Oklahoma City.
Most of the how-to-documents are based on the Outlook Web Access. Our Outlook Client Access will be using Microsoft Outlook 2007 but the Outlook Web Access (OWA) is in the newer version 2010, both will work just a little differently. Please check out the how-to-documents.

To all Staff:
The Outlook migration is progressing. The initial test group has completed their migration, so IT is starting to move to other areas for implementation. Richard is working on the schedule for each division and will send out the information as soon as it is available. The goal is to have CT Central unavailable after Nov. 1. Emails after Nov. 1 will redirected from okcareertech.org to careertech.ok.gov.
September 30-October 4, 2013 - Update
We are continuing the migration with BIS, TCS and HR from the end of last week and this week. This week we are adding Finance, Information Management, Facilities Services, Purchasing, Service Center and Financial Analyst groups.
We will be having training for Contacts and Calendars on Thursday. An email will be sent for training times.

All staff now have OWA email access from webmail.ok.gov. Contact X173 or email@example.com for email assistance.
October 22, 2013
OMES staff will begin visiting functional areas to do the full migration of individual CT Central emails, folders, contacts and calendars. We will begin with Administration and transition to through the Perky building's functional areas.
November 1, 2013 - TBA
OMES staff are revisiting staff and divisional areas to confirm migration of email, calendar and contacts to OWA experience.
January 3, 2014
Final server changes have been completed and tested all @okcareertech.org email will route to @careertech.ok.gov email accounts. Careertech Outlook migration is completed.
