         Pick a CDE

  • The instructor should use this time to select a CDE that the entire class can learn and practice. 
  • At the end of the time, a local contest should be held to determine the representatives at the upcoming interscholastics contests. 
  • Or, those interested in attending the contests can compete where more than one team is allowed and the best scores earn the opportunity to compete at the State CDE contests.

  • Students will build a foot scraper as a small project

 

  • Individual progress sheet with each task listed and a place for the instructor to sign off when the student has reached the acceptable skill level.

*If you finish your curriculum too early, add an additional unit of instruction.

  • Use Ag I as little as possible for special projects.  However, it is good to introduce them to community or school service projects as long as they are 1-2 day projects for Ag I
