Agricultural Education Career Passport
| The Career Passport is awarded to students who have been
prepared to enter the agricultural workforce through rigorous curricular
and evaluation activities established by industry. Students must
have completed at least 2 full years of Ag Ed, completed coursework in their chosen field, be graduating seniors, and
successfully completed the Ag Ed State Competency test in their chosen
area. Students will receive their Career Passport during the State
FFA Convention, provided the proper form is submitted to the state FFA
office by March 1. The form can be found in the Ag Ed Blue Book
on page 99.
Career Passport Areas and their respective tests: Horticulture: 2201 - Floriculture 2202 - Greenhouse/Nursery 2203 - Field Tech 2204 - Turf Tech
Forestry: 2901 - Forestry Tech
Equine: 5401 - Level I Horseman 5402 - Level II Horseman 5403 - Level II Horseman
Ag Power & Tech: 7001 - Construction 7002 - Welding Tech 7003 - Small Gas Engine Tech
Animal Science: 7201 - Production 4201 - Veterinary Assistant
Ag Communications: 7601 - Oral & Written Comm. Specialist 7602 - Advertising/Marketing Specialist 7603 - Radio/TV, Electronic Media Specialist
