List of Training that is available
To help volunteer firefighters get the skills and certifications they need, the Oklahoma legislature has provided $400,000 to Oklahoma CareerTech to teach firefighter training in partnership with OSU Fire Service Training at technology centers across the state.
Technology Centers, with more than 50 campuses throughout the state, can effciently deliver the training your firefighteres need at a location near your community.
In response to the Oklahoma Volunteer Firefighter Training Initiative Act, technology centers are hiring qualified instructors as asjunct staff and are using Oklahoma State University's fire service training curriculum to make training more accessible to rural fire departments.
Depending on the type amd complexity of the training requested, training can vary from four hours to courses spanning weeks, months,or a year.

- Wild land firefighting
- Emergency medical responses
- River/swift water rescue
