Multimedia Work Team
The 2010 BPA Multimedia Work Team meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2010 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Oklahoma Department of Career Tech in the Tuttle Seminar Center.
This team is responsible for the multimedia shows at the State Leadership Conference awards sessions. The meeting is to delegate parts of the show as well as to learn multimedia tips and tricks. Many schools work together to create their portion of the show, which provides an opportunity to network with other schools.
In order to register students for the workday, please email Emily Matlock at ematl@okcareertech.org by Monday, November 2 at 5:00 p.m. with the number of students and advisors who plan to attend. Lunch will be ordered based on this count, so if you have other plans for lunch and will not be eating at the agency, please note that in the email so that extra food is not ordered and paid for.

Conference Registration - 2010
Conference registration will open December 18, 2009. Please print and read the registration instructions before beginning the registration process! You can access the registration site at http://www.registermychapter.com/bpamem/.
Remember that this system is linked to the National BPA membership database, so you will not be able to register for conference until your students are registered members. Cost is $25 per registrant.
Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2009.

Electronic Submission for Prejudged Events
BPA now requires most pre-judged documents to be submitted electronically for national competition; therefore, Oklahoma has modified most of the event guidelines to reflect this change as well. In order to protect the integrity of the documents submitted, media files should be attached in an executable format and Word files, forms and other documents should be attached as PDF documents.

Regional Competitive Events CD
If you have not received your Regional Events CD to utilize for competitive events practice, click here to download the agreement form and fax, mail, or email it to our office. We will not send out a copy of the CD without this completed form. If you are planning to attend one of the SWATSHOPs, you can get one at that time as well.
Emergency Procedures for CTSO Conferences/Events
The Oklahoma Department of CareerTech office now requires local chapter advisors to provide accurate and current information about their students participating in each conference/event to school superintendents and principals in case of emergency. Please review the procedures memo below and download a copy of the Conference Information Sheet to share with your administration.

Online Testing
Online testing will be open from February 2 through February 10, 2010. You may test your students anytime during that time frame. However, waiting until the last minute is always dangerous.

You can now order the 2009-10 Oklahoma BPA pins! This year's pin is a "must have" for the members of your chapter! The cost is $2 each. Make checks payable to Oklahoma BPA.
Please note: Each student/advisor will receive a free pin with their SLC registration.
There are three ways to purchase any additional pins:
- Through the SLC registration system.
- E-mail Emily Matlock the quantity of pins you wish to order, print an invoice from this site, and pick up your pins with your registration packet at SLC.
- Purchase pins on site at SLC.
Singer/Announcer Audition Forms
Complete the form(s) below and make sure they are mailed, along with the audition media, in time to reach the BPA State Office by February 1, 2010.
**Wanted: Judges, Proctors, and Graders!**
If you have advisory committeee members, colleagues, or members of the community who would like to assist with SLC, please print and complete the Judges Information Form and mail or fax to Gina Hubbard. (Fax # and mailing address are on the form.) Advisors will be able to sign up when registering for the conference.
