About Us

Our general  purpose is so search out, assume and maintain active local and national leadership in the promotion of greater participation by minority Americans in Career and Technology Education efforts in the American society.  We also provide leadership and direction in the economic and technical development of Oklahoma through Career and Technology Education.

The main goals and efforts of OAMCTE are to influence the Development and implementation of policies that promote cultural diversity and enhance employment opportunities and advancement of minorities in all areas and levels of the Oklahoma career and technology education.  We also promote and encourage minority students to pursue training and careers in the career and technology education system.
