Career Clusters Marketing Materials

These new Career Clusters materials were developed by ODCTE's Career Cluster Marketing Team to help schools implement their Career Cluster programs. The materials include:
- Career Clusters marketing booklet (CE9020) - This 15-page booklet discusses the Career Clusters framework, lists all 16 clusters and pathways, explains the transition to the cluster approach, provides a sample plan of study, discusses the role of Career and Technology Student Associations and cooperative alliances, and explains how everyone - from learners to the community as a whole - benefits from Career Clusters. - Career Clusters brochure (CE9021) - This brochure gives a concise explanation of how the Career Clusters Initiative gives learners what they need. Download a free sample (PDF file, 1.59 MB)
Career Clusters bookmark (CE9022) - A handy bookmark lists all 16 Career Clusters. Download a free sample (PDF file, 759 MB)- Career Clusters poster (CS9040) - Brightly colored posters list descriptive statements about each Career Cluster. Students many read the statements to see which Career Cluster interests them. All levels of educational requirements are represented in the sample occupations given. The set of eight posters lists two clusters per poster. Download a free sample (PDF file, 3 MB). Please note that the free sample shows all eight posters compiled onto two pages; the actual posters are 18 X 24 inches each.

Early Care and Education: Master Teacher

Master Teacher is designed for early care and education students who have completed the Teacher Assistant course. The curriculum is aligned with Oklahoma CareerTech duty/task lists for early childhood care and education occupations. This in-depth study is designed to provide training in Master Teacher, Infant and Toddler, and School-Age. Master Teacher incorporates state licensing regulations and standards set forth by national organizations active in early childhood care and education.
Unit titles include:
- Preparing for the Roles of the Master Teacher
- Implementing Best Practices to Comply with Licensing Standards
- Ensuring Developmentally-Appropriate Activities
- Providing for Children’s Health and Safety

Touring Oklahoma

Touring Oklahoma provides students with an opportunity to explore careers in the Hospitality & Tourism cluster within the context of Oklahoma events, attractions, and places of interest. This curriculum also helps students to become more aware of marketing opportunities for destinations in specific regions of the state.
Students will
- Develop an appreciation for and promote pride in Oklahoma
- Gain knowledge of tourism themes and destinations in Oklahoma
- Explore careers in the hospitality and tourism industry in Oklahoma
- Compare economic opportunities in different regions of Oklahoma
- Develop a tourism marketing plan for a designated region of the state

Introduction to Modern Manufacturing is part of the TechConnect Series. This publication incorporates information on the Manufacturing Career Cluster, including cluster pathways. In addition to traditional objectives and written information, it includes various WebWork activities, "Did You Know?" boxes with interesting information, and quizzes throughout the units for student review.
