Agricultural Education

The Agricultural Education Division administers Agricultural Education offerings in 353 high schools. These programs prepare students for careers in production agriculture, agribusiness, and other emerging agricultural-related occupations. The CareerTech Student Organization affiliated with Agricultural Education is FFA.

Current Information

  • Summer Conference Information- August 4-5, 2014 in Tulsa, OK at the Tulsa Cox Convention Center.  Register before July 25th for $50, after July 25th cost is $70.  You can refer to this link to register, find hotel information, agenda, and help answer any other questions you may have.
  • 2014 National FFA Convention Housing Now Open--
  • National FFA is pleased to announce that chapter housing for the 2014 National FFA Convention and Expo is open.  Advisors are encouraged to login to their AgCN account to download the housing request PDF from their home page.  The form is listed in the “national news” section of AgCN.  In addition to the form, advisors will find a map of Louisville hotel areas, detailed hotel information, and a FAQ sheet.  Individual housing forms must be received via US mail in Louisville by September 10, 2014 along with a $50/room deposit and rooming list.
