Instructions for Using Brainbench

  1. Access the testing site: http://www.okcareertech.org/educators/assessments-and-testing/brainbench-testing.
  2. Instructors: (must generate a Course ID)
    • Click on "Course ID" at the end of the third paragraph.
    • Enter your PID #, click Submit.
    • Your Course ID # will be listed on this screen.
    • Write your Course ID# down and keep it secure.
    • Click the Back Button twice. The screen returns to "Welcome to the New Certification & Testing Site, CareerTech Virtual Testing Center".
  3. Students/Users:
    • Scroll down to end of screen, click on "Testing" button. (https://dpt.okcareertech.org/pfccsecu/bb.student.login.dptw)
    • A pop-up box will appear asking for "User Name" and "Password -- Contact your instructor for this information.
    • At the next screen, enter your information. All information must be entered EXACTLY the same EVERYTIME you login!
      1. First Name
      2. Last Name
      3. Course ID# (obtain from instructor)
      4. Last 4 Digits of SSN# (or student number)
      5. Zip Code
      6. Email address (Each student must have a unique e-mail address!)
    • Click Submit.
    • Click Continue.
    • Click Take a Test.
    • Scroll and select your test.
    • Read the information, provide the requested information and begin testing.
