Disability ACES Workshop - Access Classroom Educational Strategies
The purpose of this workshop is to present information regarding characteristics, behaviors and social skills of individuals diagnosed with specific learning disability, autism and/or attention deficit disorder/attention deficit hyperactive disorder. Research shows that direct attention and effective manipulation of classroom environment, behaviors and instructional practice can enhance positive learning outcomes. Best practices interventions for academics, behavior and social skills' interventions will be introduced.
