What is a Credential?
Ever get confused about certifications vs credentialing or have a hard time explaining the difference? ACTE has put out a fact sheet on “What is a Credential?” that gives good information on this topic. This fact sheet defines the different types of credentials available to CTE students, including educational certificates, degrees, certifications and government-issued licenses. Use it to help stakeholders understand CTE educational attainment options. Find it at: http://www.acteonline.org/uploadedFiles/Assets_and_Documents/Global/files/Publications/What_is_a_Credential-UpdatedAug2015.pdf
