New Teacher Academy
The CareerTech New Teacher Academy will be held July 15-17, 2013, in Stillwater at Meridian Technology Center. All new CareerTech teachers are required to attend, in addition to those who have not previously attended, in order to meet the CareerTech Endorsement requirement. Three required follow-up dates for 2013-2014 are tentatively set for: Sept. 4, 2013, Nov. 6, 2013, and Jan. 8, 2014. Additional information regarding follow-up dates will be posted as information becomes available. Check back closer to the beginning of August for additional information regarding follow-up dates and agendas. All new CareerTech teachers are required to attend all six days of training.

Resources
There are many resources located on ICAT, the CareerTech online community, at http://icat.okcareertech.org. Login is required for many of the resources located in ICAT that are restricted to the Oklahoma CareerTech community. If you need access, contact the BMITE division for login instructions.
To access the many resources available for your use in the classroom, become a member of the ICAT community. Once you are a member of the ICAT community, login to ICAT, then select the Agency Division drop-down menu, then Business, Marketing, and IT Education.
