Manufacturing Skills

Manufacturing Skills uses a self-paced format to cover fundamental topics that are essential for students in manufacturing technology. The modules are designed to be used in any order. Modules include:
- Safety
- Chains, Sprockets, and Belts
- Clutches and Brakes
- Coupling and Coupling Alignment
- Gearboxes
- Pipes and Fittings
- Seals and Bearings
- Tubing
Each module includes an objective sheet, a step-by-step guide for progressing through the module (LAP sheet), information sheets that feature full-color photographs, plus assignment and job sheets as appropriate. Manufacturing Skills is designed to be used in combination with the popular Audel Millwrights & Mechanics Guide by Thomas Bieber Davis and Carl A. Nelson.
Teacher materials, which are available on a CD, include resource and reference lists as well as a module test. The answers to the tests and assignment sheets are also included on the CD.

Personal Financial Literacy

Many states (including Oklahoma) are mandating financial literacy as a graduation requirement. This curriculum includes all 14 areas of instruction outlined in Oklahoma's Passport to Financial Literacy. It was developed with guidance from the Jump$tart Coalition for Financial Literacy, and is endorsed by the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education
Personal Financial Literacy will assist teachers in providing students with the basic skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage their personal finances. The objectives and learning activities are based on real-world situations, and will help build a foundation for making informed and successful personal financial decisions.
The Student Guide and Teacher Edition are printed in full color. A Teacher Resource CD is also available, which includes printable versions of all student consumables, PowerPoints®, written tests in Word® and rich text formats (for use with ExamView®), vocabulary puzzles, and more.

Animal Science

Animal Science is based on the competencies set by the Division of Agricultural Education at the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. Students typically take this course after completing Introduction to Agriscience, also known as Agricultural Education I. This product features a full-color student and teacher edition. The activities and assignments are included along with PowerPoints® and tests in Word® and rich text format for ExamView® conversion on a Teacher Resource CD (AG 8006).

Construction Concepts TLA

This Technology Learning Activity covers the basics of construction and takes students through the process of building a structure. Students will create a scale model of an early home, design a home as an architect (online), research alternative housing materials, build a base floor, estimate framing materials, frame an interior wall with a door, cut pipe, join pieces of pipe, plumb lines for water, wire a light switch, estimate drywall material needs, install drywall, tape joints, compare heating and cooling methods, determine elements of style, paint a wall, complete a green building survey, and research a career related to construction.
