Teaching to Lead

Teaching to Lead is a curriculum designed to meet the needs of the beginning teacher and develop the most essential skills for high-quality CareerTech instruction. This training is intended for teachers with degrees other than education who wish to participate in a professional learning community that offers support and foundational skills for the CareerTech classroom.

Teaching to Lead consists of interactive workshops designed around key areas of competency for beginning teachers: classroom management, instructional planning, instructional strategies and classroom assessment. Teachers will participate in a professional learning community with other beginning teachers from across the state. This program gives professional development hours to benefit teacher certification requirements. No college credit will be earned. Teachers will attend all training days in the program.

The application isn't open at this time.
