All the applications below should be emailed to carl.perkins@careertech.ok.govno later than 6:00pm June 1, 2016, unless otherwise stated in grant requirements document.                Tentatively High Growth will be out March 15.


PLTW Program grants

Bemis Grant Opportunity School must be part of an active PLTW district; and must have previously received a grant from PLTW supported by the Bemis Foundation in the locations listed below. Additionally, school must implement a new PLTW Launch or PLTW Gateway program beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. This is only available in the Oklahoma - Pauls Valley area.

Verizon and PLTW Grant (nationwide)

Verizon has partnered with PLTW to offer middle schools nationwide the opportunity to apply for a two-year grant to support the implementation of PLTW Gateway’s new specialization units – Introduction to Computer Science I (ICS I) and Introduction to Computer Science II (ICS II). Schools must demonstrate a Free and Reduced Lunch Program eligible student population of 70% or greater.

Please read and ensure all of the eligibility requirements are met prior to applying. This is a competitive application process and applicants are not guaranteed funding.

    • Must be a middle school located within the United States
    • Must have a Free and Reduced Lunch Program eligible student population of 70% or greater
    • Application opens: January 15, 2016
    • Application closes: March 31, 2016
