Patricia's love for children started at a young age in her high school child development programs at Kiamichi Technology Center in Hugo.  There she not only received hands-on experience with children but she also found a direction in life.

Former Jenks FCCLA president and DECA competitive event winner, Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry promotes her platform of intolerance to drunk driving and underage drinking with skills learned through CareerTech.

Edna Hennessee

Edna is the 87-year-old owner of Cosmetic Specialty Labs in Lawton, Okla. and still takes classes at CareerTech centers around the state.  She even took a class on how to start your own business.  Two-thirds of Hennessee’s employees have graduated from one of Great Plains Technology Systems programs.

Since she was crowned Stillwater’s C.E. Donart High School “Miss FBLA” in 1970, Janabeth Fleming Taylor has taken a variety of routes leading to her current destination.  As the owner of Attorney Medical Services, Taylor consults with lawyers all across the United States in litigation cases.

Vince Orza, a “vo-tech” student in Shrub Oak, N.Y. during the late 1960s was discouraged from applying to college. He “wasn’t college material.”
