to give scholarships FCCLA Careertech Sanctioned Events Healthy Lifestyle Video-First Lady Kim Henry, in conjunction with State Superintendent Sandy Garrett and the Oklahoma State Department of Education, is coordinating a healthy lifestyles video contest for students ages 13 and up. The contest begins Wednesday, October 1, and runs through the end of the school year. To participate, students must submit videos promoting healthy lifestyle choices that can be used for public service announcements. Submissions can be the work of an individual student or a team of students. Monthly winners will be chosen with first place prizes of $3,500 and second place prizes of $1,500. Plus, the school of a first place winner will receive $1,000 worth of fitness equipment. For details, click on the above link.
