"Academic Credit for Students on IEPs and Who Are Enrolled in Career and Technology Education"

This video conference introduces strategies used to develop a process for Lawton Public School students who have an IEP to receive academic credit for skills learned and inherent in the career and technology education program in which the student is enrolled. This process was developed through a cooperative effort between Lawton public Schools and Great Plains Technology Center. Methods and examples for documenting the academic skills and monitoring student progress through the IEP are presented.
