The following categories of skills were
developed as a means of organizing the psychomotor and cognitive
skills used in nursing practice.
The list was created from several sources: the Dolphin
Project (Practical Nursing Curriculum) from the Oklahoma
Department of Career and Technology Education, nursing skills books,
and conversations with nurses involved in nursing practice.
