The following are curricular recommendations that will result from the Educational Mobility Grant:

• Work with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education to use the American Council on Education as a mechanism for awarding college credit to graduates of practical nursing programs.

• Developed guidelines  to facilitate articulation of graduates of practical nursing programs into associate degree and/or baccalaureate nursing programs.

• Developed a common bridge course that can be used by associate degree and/or baccalaureate nursing programs for LPNs seeking educational mobility has been developed. It is available for importing into local RN programs' Blackboard systems.

• Use the Internet as a method for facilitating educational mobility of LPNs seeking educational mobility. The common bridge course is in place and ready for use.  See above bullet.

• Using current articulation agreements between associate degree and practical nursing programs to develop a model for facilitating articulation of LPNs into associate degree and/or baccalaureate nursing programs.

•  These models are available and ready for use.

• Developing a process for centralized advisement of students via the internet. Currently there has been legislation induced to form a Governor's Health Care Workforce Resources Task Force.
