CCR Transitions to SAM
April 28, 2012 -- In a couple of weeks the U.S. government will begin combining several databases that service its purchasing actions into one new database.

The new System of Awards Management (or SAM) will begin by absorbing all data in the current CCR and ORCA (Central Contractor Registration and Online Representations and Certifications Application).
