Employee Benefits

Flexible Work Schedule-ODCTE was awarded the Spirit of the Family Award in 2007 for our dedication to helping staff members maintain a healthy work/life balance. One way we accomplish this is by providing flexible work schedule options for most positions. Over 85% of our workforce enjoy a flexible work schedule.

Competitive Wages-Because we seek the most qualified, talented and passionate people, ODCTE strives to pay competitive wages.

Health Benefit Allowance-To assist employees with the rising cost of medical insurance, a generous Benefit Allowance is given to staff members on a monthly basis to participate in one or more health, dental and vision plans for themselves and their dependents. Retirement Contributions-Planning for the future is our business. In 2007 ODCTE contributed 7% of each employees' salary to the Teacher's Retirement Program. Additionally, another estimated 7% is contributed by ODCTE on behalf of each employee. Each employee's Benefit Allowance is added to their annual salary and included in the retirement contribution calculation.
