More details about TIP

The most important corporate resource over the next 20 years will be talent. That's where we come in. Oklahoma's Training for Industry program (TIP) can help you find and train your workforce talent, whether you're a new or expanding company in our state. And here is the best part it's free.

Once you decide to locate or expand your company in Oklahoma, we work one-on- one with you to design and deliver the best start-up training program available anywhere in the U.S.

In addition to TIP, we have the ability to provide ongoing, cost-effective, customized training to help you keep your employees up-to-date and productive.

Oklahoma also has an award-winning safety training program available during start-up and as needs arise. Many Oklahoma companies have significantly reduced costs and increased productivity after participating in our safety training program.

Finally, employment-ready students from our system of 54 technology centers and 39 colleges and universities provide a continuing source of employees for your company. Working together, we're able to help you work even smarter.

Simple and easy

While you're dealing with strategy, capital, production, research and development, we'll make it easier to address your most important resource in today's economy-human capital.

Here's how the TIP process works: First, we'll have a meeting to get to know you and to provide an overview of our services.

Once you've determined your location or expansion plans in Oklahoma, technical experts from the state level and training experts at the local level will work with you to design your customized services.

A "Statement of Understanding" between your company, the state, and the local technology center is then written. The statement includes a brief description of the type of customized programs and services we're providing along with facility requirements and any other agreements needed to achieve your goals.

That's it-simple and easy! We provide a fast, flexible turnaround to get you going-it's quick and hassle-free.
