Oklahoma's
highly acclaimed career and technology education system offers a
variety of services and educational opportunities for a wide range
of Oklahomans, ranging from junior high school students to senior
citizens.
Learn about
possible careers, career exploration possibilities, leadership opportunities,
or education and training for marketable job skills, the Oklahoma
career and technology system has lots to offer.
In 2008-09, Oklahoma CareerTech students were enrolled in more than 77,000 college credit hours through agreements with higher education. Oklahoma CareerTech students learn industry-valued skills and earn industry certifications.

Oklahoma CareerTech Student Organizations
Achieve goals through one-of-seven career and technology student
organizations.
These organizations provide opportunities for personal
growth and scholastic achievement, as well as developing skills in public
speaking, planning and organizing.
Work on various community projects, competitive
events, and leadership activities, and meet other students who share
similar interests. The student organizations and affililated educational programs
are below.

- About half of Oklahoma high schools students (87,000) and 36,000 in Grades 6-are enrolled in CareerTech.
- More than 71,000 middle school-through-adult students are members of at least one of seven Oklahoma CareerTech student organizations.
