As the final phase of accountability, the Testing Division offers a system of online competency assessment for program completers. These measures ensure that CareerTech students have attained the skills necessary for success on the job. Assessments correspond directly to related skill standards and are validated by industry. Analysis of these assessments is the key to accountability as it provides feedback to:

.... students regarding their strengths and weaknesses. This provides students a clear picture of their occupational readiness.

.... instructors regarding performance of their class as a whole. This provides instructors valuable guidance for program improvement.

.... state program staff regarding performance of the state's programs as a whole. This provides leadership with indicators of instructor's needs for professional development.

.... the Testing Division regarding test performance. This data is the basis for the improvement of assessments each year. Currently, over 100 occupational assessments are available to Oklahoma's students. Additionally, the Testing Division administers high stakes assessments in several health related areas through joint agreements with the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
