Using the industry-driven skill standards as a foundation, ODCTE's Curriculum & Instructional Materials Center (CIMC) develops competency-based curriculum for Oklahoma's CareerTech programs. The development process ensures that industry input is incorporated into content development and delivery. It also allows Oklahoma's instructors access to current, affordable, and quality instructional materials. The goal of accountability is supported through the inclusion of hands-on activities and assessments within each curriculum product. These products build on the skill standards in support of system, program, and student accountability.
