Four Oklahoma CareerTech educators and professionals received $40,000 for doing outstanding work. They were honored at the 47th annual Oklahoma Career and Technology Education Summer Conference. Top awards were also presented to 35 educators and staff members, and 16 schools received Gold Star awards. More than 3,500 CareerTech teachers, counselors, administrators and staff members converged on the Tulsa Cox Convention Center Aug. 4-5 for conference, which the Oklahoma CareerTech System holds in partnership with the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education.
