High School Students Choose CareerTech and - not or

Montage of Students

Many Oklahoma students are choosing to have the total high school experience that includes sports, band and clubs -- and spending mornings or afternoons at their local technology centers.

School counselors are helpful in mapping out these schedules, which are possible because CareerTech offers flexibility. Nearly half of all high school students in the state take advantage of CareerTech offerings, and hundreds of student-athletes are enrolled in technology centers. They compete in each of the three sports seasons (fall, winter and spring) of the school year.

During the 2012-13 school year, Vype - High School Sports Magazine, formerly High School Sports - The Magazine, has featured CareerTech student-athletes from across the state each month.

Vype promotes high school athletics, cheer and music programs across the central and eastern United States with news stories, features and photography.
