Advanced Animation Techniques
Course Description
Students will utilize advanced animation techniques to create, edit, and deploy streaming and progressive-download FLV content to support videos. Students will develop, manage, and maintain rich, engaging experiences for easy delivery to millions of viewers on the web or mobile devices. (This course can be substituted for Advanced Digital Animation).

- Develop a preloader, flash slide
show, and forms.
- Create, edit, and deploy streaming
and progressive-download FLV content to support videos.
- Develop content for delivery on the
web or mobile devices.
- Apply intermediate scripting
techniques for interactive design.
- Use various types of loops to
repeat actions.
- Use callbacks to set up functions.
- Use functions to recycle blocks of
script.
- Use arguments and return results.
- Store related collections of
variables and functions.
- Create custom object classes.
- Use properties of graphical objects
to build advanced interactivity.
- Add navigation, audio, and user
interaction to presentations.
- Attach behaviors.
- Write scripts with Action Script.
