Financial Management & Investment Planning

Course Description

This course builds on the Business and Personal Finance course. It will provide students with the ability to recognize functions, concepts of sources, and uses of funds needed in financial administration of corporate financial management. The structure and operation of securities markets, portfolio management and capital market theory will be identified and applied to diagnose and solve financial and operational problems. Students will interpret financial data to develop short-term and long-term budgetary plans. Students will engage in solving real business problems with the importance of technology and globalization in the modern practice of finance.
