Course Description

The Preventive Maintenance Introduction and Safety course provides instruction to prepare the student to work safely in the preventive maintenance shop. Areas of instruction include safety precautions, fire hazards, electrical hazards, air quality hazards, external irritant hazards, and using equipment safely when accidents happen.
