Course Title
Advanced Effects for Motion Graphics
Course Description
Students will utilize advanced tools and techniques to produce professional video productions and/or motion graphics. (This course is optional, but suggested, for the 3D Animator career major.)

Non-Linear Digital Production and 3D Animation |
Knowledge and Skills
- Perform advanced editing functions for visual effects using software such as AfterEffects, Maya or 3ds Max.
- Add various types of transitions and video and audio effects.
- Apply advanced editing techniques for textures, materials, lighting and superimposing images.
- Create virtual clips.
- Support special effects for motion graphics for film and/or industry.
- Comply with copyright rules and guidelines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with special effects plug-ins available.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing professional motion graphics for film and/or industry.
- Export 3D animations for a variety of applications.
- Manipulate, troubleshoot, compress, publish, and export graphics and/or animations.
- Synthesize available interactive media technologies into a unified video production using appropriate authoring software and tools.
- Produce or acquire graphics, animation, audio, and/or video content.
- Demonstrate the effective use of tools for interactive media production, development, and project management.
- Apply knowledge of motion techniques and appropriate use of effects to enhance production.
