Principles of Horticulture

Course Description

This course is designed to prepare students for further studies in Horticulture. Careers and areas of horticulture are explored, as is how horticulture fits into the field of plant agriculture. Greenhouse watering, tools, safety, and plant growth are all aspects of this course. The course will be divided into theory, terminology and hands-on applications, which are a stepping stone for all other horticulture studies.
