Conditioning

Course Description

This course is an introduction to the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, skeletal muscles, general principals of exercise, the body's response to stress, aerobic vs. anaerobic exercise, the three phases of a conditioning program and conditioning as it relates to the race horse and performance horse.
