Learn About Careers in Automotive Industry

The Oklahoma Automobile Dealers Association from Oct. 10 through Oct. 31 will host Future Tech Expo in five technology centers across the state.

“The Future Tech Expo will give students and parents an opportunity to hear from professionals in the automotive industry about some of the exciting careers available to them,” said Matt Boyles, director of human resource development for the association.

The expos will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the following locations and dates: Tulsa Tech Center, Lemley Seminar Center, Oct. 10; Red River Tech Center Seminar Center, Oct. 17; Autry Tech Center, Room 22, Oct. 24; Kiamichi Tech Center, McAlester, auditorium, Oct. 26 and Metro Tech, Oklahoma City, Seminar Center, Oct. 31.

Industry professionals will be on-hand to share their experiences and tell students how they can get started in the profession.

The events are sponsored by the Automotive Youth Educational Systems, Oklahoma CareerTech and Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee.
