Regional Administrators The regional administrators serve as a liaison between superintendents of local education agencies, local communities, and the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. Oklahoma is divided into six regional administrator districts. We provide interpretation and communication of State Department polices and procedures for school districts offering CareerTech programs, provide technical assistance, and assist with local program planning. We also collect and disseminate data and information related to CareerTech programs. The High School Administrators’ Program (HSAP) is coordinated by the regional administrators. It is a series of two-day workshops held at various CareerTech sites across Oklahoma. The HSAP program helps administrators better understand the CareerTech system, and learn about the latest information on career options related to CareerTech programs offered both at their schools and at their local technology centers. The final workshop is held at the Lexington Correctional Facility in the Career Tech Skills Center. See the HSAP program graduates for 2007, see the graduates for 2006
