Course Electricity Technology
Location Alva Skills Center – Alva, Oklahoma
Average Training Time 720 – 960 hours. The program is performance based. The student will finish the program when they have demonstrated the ability to independently perform required tasks.
Special Restrictions Students must have a HSD or GED prior to enrollment.
Course Description NCCER curriculums in electrical include, core, level 1 & performance profiles. The program will provide students with knowledge and skills to empower themselves and will elevate the students' skills in three areas.
  1. Technical skills in electricity.
  2. Academic skills through WorkKeys, KeyTrain and applied reading, writing and math used in real world applications.
  3. Life skills training using computer programs, students progress through life skills for employment and more.
