Postsecondary Fall Leadership Conference

Lunch will be provided on site for all participants. No one will be permitted to leave the facilities for lunch.
Registration is due in the state office no later than Sept. 28!! No refunds will be allowed after this date. You will be expected to pay for the individuals who are registered whether they attend conference or not. Additional participants brought to conference who are not registered by the deadline will be charged $20.00 per person.
PLEASE turn in a copy of your invoice to your finance office.
You must pay prior to attending or have payment or a P.O. upon arrival!!
Official SkillsUSA wear is encouraged but is not required.
However, please remind all attendees that school dress codes still apply.
The agenda is planned to meet three objectives:
~ To provide sessions on leadership, citizenship and character development to support adult students who are preparing themselves for the labor market.
~ To promote understanding of the role of Careertech training and its place in preparing workers to successfully work within the free enterprise system.
~ To describe leadership and skill development opportunities offered through SkillsUSA that emphasizes the role of applied academics in vocational training, dignity of work, work ethic, and teamwork.
We need the following information from your school to complete details for the conference:
~ A registration email to ensure that we have adequate food, certificates and pins available for your students and instructors who participate. We need your response to complete the arrangements for food service and meeting rooms. Information is needed by Sept. 28!
~ A copy of the nomination form should your school desire to sponsor a candidate for State Representative. Forms received after Sept. 28th are subject to rejection.
NOTE: Each technology center campus may nominate one candidate. Please make sure the candidates read and understand the nomination form before signatures are obtained. Officer candidates must be in official attire. Absolutely no nominations will be taken from the floor.
