2013 Summer Conference FAQs.

Q.    When should I be able to register for the conference?

A.     Registration is now open. Click on registration link on the navigation bar to the left. Should you have any questions or need technical assistance, please contact the OkACTE office at 405-525-8906.

Q.    Can I pay for all of my conference registration expenses and OkACTE membership dues with a credit card?

A.    Yes. Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover will be accepted in 2013.

Q.    Can schools pay my conference registration fee and professional dues?

A.     No. Schools can pay conference registration fees but not professional dues.     However, they can pay your professional dues if they are part of your employment contract and a copy of the contract accompanies the check.

Q.    Can I join a secondary division through my primary division?

A.    Yes, your primary division can accept your secondary division dues.

Q.    Will ODCTE provide a stipend to conference attendees this year?

A.    Because of ongoing budget concerns, ODCTE is not able to provide stipends again this year. For more details go to Stipend page.

Q.    What is the dress code?

A.    The recommended dress code for the first day of the conference is professional attire. Business casual is appropriate for Friday. Since meeting rooms tend to either be too hot or too cold, please consider bringing a sweater or jacket so that you are prepared for varying temperatures.

Q.    When and where will the New and Related Services Business meeting be held?

A.    The NRS business meeting is scheduled Thursday, August 1, 2013, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., Cox Convention Center, Room 4. (first floor)
