The collection of timely, accurate, and comparable data is of growing importance with the Tech Prep initiative and related state and local initiatives that link continued funding to demonstrated benefits and outcomes. The PDOS system will ensure that performance plans are in place and set specific, measurable outcomes for Tech Prep programs to achieve. Through annual performance reports, program review visits and ongoing technical assistance, ODCTE and local consortia coordinators will collectively provide detailed program and student outcomes information on consortia progress in meeting Tech Prep objectives. Information will be used to support ODCTE decisions on appropriation levels and reauthorization of programs. PDOS will document results and justify funding.
