StartSafe. StaySafe. CareerSafe. Note: Vouchers are available to Oklahoma teachers only!! Skip the Rhetoric and Request Your Voucher Now Trade and Industrial Education, Technology Education, and the Professional Development Division of the ODCTE have teamed up to provide to a limited number of teachers a FREE voucher to test the CareerSafe on-line safety training. (More info on CareerSafe below.) You do NOT need this training to offer the CareerSafe training to your students, but the training may encourage you to begin using it once you learn more. You will receive a voucher and brief instructions, as well as a PowerPoint presentation explaining the need, concepts, and development of the CareerSafe online safety training for students. Questions or comments: jbull@okcareertech.org 405-743-5424 ----------------------------------------------------------- CareerSafe, developed by the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), is an online OSHA 10-Hour Course – a web-based, interactive, youth-to-youth (Y2Y) designed course that conveys the fundamental safety knowledge every student should know before entering the workforce. Completion of the online course earns each student an OSHA 10-Hour CareerSafe wallet card and, more importantly, a safety mindset that will serve them throughout their lives whether at school, at home, or at work. Additionally, TEEX has partnered with SkillsUSA to get the word out to schools so the CareerSafe program could be integrated into the curriculum of high schools and colleges across the country. The first step in getting started with CareerSafe Online OSHA 10-hour course, after your initial training which carries no obligation, is to buy vouchers. Vouchers can be purchased in bulk or individually. Once users have a valid voucher number, they can register and begin the safety program online at the CareerSafe Campus.
