Marcie Mack Biography
Dr. Marcie Mack, state director of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, has been focusing on providing a high-quality education for Oklahomans for more than 20 years. Before becoming the eighth state director of ODCTE, she served as the deputy state director/chief operations officer and the interim state director for the department. Prior to coming to CareerTech, she served in various other capacities at Autry Technology Center, including as assistant superintendent and instructor, and in support, information systems and administration.
Under Mack’s leadership, the CareerTech System has launched a new statewide online career planning system, a new online catalog for career curriculum sales and an upgraded internal database for data collection and processing. She has also created new statewide advisory committees for business and industry and military initiatives.
Mack continues her passion for developing a world-class workforce through building partnerships with business and industry, engaging nationally to represent the Oklahoma CareerTech System and being actively involved in many community organizations across the state.
